Method of movement...
The red panda's method of movement is on all four. They have two front paws that are equipped with a thumb, which allows them to grab the bamboo easier and hold it. On their back legs on the bottom of the paws you will find a lump. Now being compared to the giant panda this lump is not as big, however the amount of fur on the bottom of the red pandas paw is greater. The fur is important because it helps them adapt for when walking on snow or cold surfaces. The lump, as mentioned before, is not necessarily significant, besides helping the red panda with mobility the lump is just another physical characteristic that is shared with the giant panda. Lastly, they have claws on all for paws that assisit them when climbong or just for grip when necessary.
